Alien Dimensions Story Submission Guidelines have been updated

As you’ve probably seen by now, every issue up to issue 9 has already been removed from sale, with issue 10 disappearing soon. I thought that setting 12 months as a limit for rights for a story for the issues would be a great idea, but hadn’t considered how sad it is to remove a title that is still generating interest.

And so, from issue 16, Alien Dimensions issues will be around for two years, rather than one. As a result, I’ve updated the terms for the use of the stories, as well as added some other things to the submission list requirements.

Having an issue remain for 2 years rather than one is beneficial to both Alien Dimensions a series, and author name notice-ability as a whole, IMHO. Click here for the updates: Alien Dimensions Submission Guidelines

Issue 15 was a special issue, with a number of different features that took a bit longer to organize. Unfortunately, the extra features didn’t improve sales so much, so I’m going to go back to a style similar to issue 14.

There’ll also be a tiered release structure. Amazon and Createspace as well as Kindle Unlimited first. Then, 3 months later, removed from Kindle Unlimited, then released via Google Play and iBooks (as well as other places.)

I’m really happy to see that when I type ‘Alien Dimensions’ into the search box in Amazon, ‘Alien Dimensions 16’ pops up as a search key phrase suggestion. It looks like there’s already interest in the next issue. That’s great news. Many thanks!

As soon as I can confirm 5 more stories, I’ll start work on putting issue 16 together. I can already confirm Gustavo Bondoni’s story ‘Blink’ will be in issue 16, as will one of mine called ‘Moon Mine’ If you have a story you think fits the guidelines, please submit it for consideration. My next submission reading day will be July 20th.

Cheers

Neil A.
