As a lot of science fiction magazines can be read in 2-3 hours, and many are released monthly, bimonthly, quarterly or annually. Most of us usually buy, or subscribe, to more than one publication.
While there are many great publications that have chosen print-only or website-only releases, or have been released through other online portals, this list is for recently released ebooks on Kindle.
Here is my personal top 10 list, unranked. These magazines publish some amazing speculative fiction. Support struggling authors and check out some of our friendly competitors today.
Sadly, since beginning this list, many series have finished, or have moved to website-only releases. Goodbye to Apex and Compelling Science Fiction, to name two.
2020 update: Flame Tree Press have recently announced (January 2020 newsletter here) they have signed a partnership with Joe Stech to bring back Compelling Science Fiction!
